Using the four-chamber view as the reference point, this tutorial describes a technique used for imaging the aortic and pulmonary outflow tracts by sweeping the transducer beam cephalad from the four-chamber view. It describes 5 image levels for each of 20 orientations of the four-chamber view which are obtained from eight fetal positions. The tutorial includes a review section and a test of diagnostic skills.
